Wonder, Warfare and Worship

This month has been a season of adventure, growth, and encountering God in the Northern Territory. From sleeping in swags under the stars to witnessing breathtaking sunrises and sunsets across the outback, I’ve been continually reminded of God’s faithfulness, presence, and the beauty of His creation. Every place we travelled became an opportunity to see Him at work in new and unexpected ways.

We spent time in Alice Springs joining with people from different YWAM bases around Australia to pray and intercede for the nation, standing in unity and seeking God’s heart for our country. We also stayed in Beswick, where we experienced deep hospitality while learning about spiritual warfare and seeing God’s nearness in every challenge. In our final week, we focused on the fear of the Lord, growing in reverence for His holiness and learning to see it not as restrictive, but as an invitation to know Him more deeply and be shaped by Him.

3 Glimpses of Joy:

Joy in creation by watching stunning sunrises and sunsets across the outback, sleeping beneath a sky full of stars, and seeing incredible wildlife that daily reminded me of God’s creativity and power.

Joy in prayer by seeing people from different places come together with one purpose to pray and intercede for Australia, reminding me of God’s power at work and that He is moving across our nation.

Joy in community through travelling, sharing meals, serving together, and being welcomed into places like Beswick, where I was deeply blessed by the relationships and connections built along the way.

2 Lessons Along the Way:

This month taught me the importance of speaking Scripture over communities, regions, and nations, and how God’s Word carries authority and power when declared over situations and places.

Fearing the Lord is walking in humility and intimacy with Him, and it grows a deep love for people as His heart shapes mine.

1 Thing I'm Trusting God With:

I am trusting God to help me pursue Him with everything I have. My desire is to go after Him wholeheartedly, walking in complete obedience and surrender. I want every part of my life to reflect a deep love for Him, allowing Him to lead me wherever He calls and trusting that His plans are always better than my own.
